Nuestra Historia

Pompeii started in May 2014.

We were a group of friends, 22 years old, just out of university, with no real plan and a growing sense that the paths in front of us weren’t ours. We didn’t come from fashion. We didn’t have experience, contacts, or a roadmap. What we did have was a shared instinct for things we liked.

So we started a footwear brand.
Not because we had spotted a gap in the market, but because we cared about shoes, about how they looked, how they felt, and what they said about the person wearing them.

Looking back, Pompeii wasn’t really about footwear. It was about finding direction.

Over time, what began as shoes grew into something broader. A way of seeing things. A point of view. Today, Pompeii is a ready-to-wear brand, but more than that, it’s an expression of taste. One that goes beyond clothing and into how you approach everyday life.

That taste didn’t come from nowhere.

Growing up between the south of England and Madrid meant being shaped by two very different worlds. One more structured, more traditional. The other more open, more instinctive. Somewhere along the way, those two sides met. Not in opposition, but in balance.

That’s where Pompeii lives.

We often describe it as refined streetwear. An elegant but relaxed way of dressing, influenced by sport, nostalgia, and culture. A modern take on prep, with a youthful edge. But labels only go so far.

At its core, Pompeii is about personal taste.
About dressing in a way that feels honest to you, without needing to fit into a single definition.

We know we’re not for everyone, and we don’t intend to be.

We believe in doing what we like, guided by instinct rather than rules.
Most of those rules were made for a different world. And that world has changed.

So we keep moving, making things that feel right to us.
Trusting that those who see it, will understand it.
